I'm very skeptical this will happen.

The rebel factions are diverse and run the gamut from Islamist to Kurdish-led (the so-called "Syrian Democratic Forces"). Most insurgents -except for the Kurds-are supported by Erdogan's Turkiye, which is staunchly anti-Israel.

Oh I know. I almost predict two or three countries actually. But the south had Israel help on the QT. Arab channels are hating this.

Without Israel's degradation of Hezbollah and Iran, Assad would still be in charge. So the "insurgents" owe IL a debt of gratitude. But most probably credit themselves instead.
