I imagine, when the Tories established NHS England in order to divert the blame for the failings of the NHS away from themselves that they did so claiming that it would end “waste, inefficiency and duplication”.
That was nonsense. So is this.
All would be resolved by proper funding.

I suspect that this is in part true. But I remain to be convinced that the private sector is significantly devoid of these problems.

I suspect the differences are more focussed on service v profit but that there are good and bad staff in both is not really affected.
I worked in the NHS for 40yr. I certainly came across wasters but they were grossly outnumbered by others whose dedication outstripped their rewards.
