Bingmei doesn't go through with it. SQQ chooses him and opens himself to him (literally and metaphorically lmao) and eventually when they are post canon XM is completely destroyed. Bingmei is permanently on a better path now thanks to SQQ.

Yes, agreed! And on that last point, we also know Bingge isn't actually happy; he just believes himself to be until he discovers a different outcome was somehow possible. God. Ouch. But in spite of this, he keeps XM, as far as we know. Lots to think about.
