I am not a U.S. citizen and (with apologies) was sceptical that people could be that inhumane. I checked & found a story from Oklahoma confirming it. The woman had an addiction and was punished; nobody asks for addiction. How does Oklahoma reconcile that with its death penalty for an adult?

Medically, a miscarriage is an abortion. I’ve had 7 pregnancies, and I thankfully have 4 living children. I cannot imagine the horror of being persecuted as well as losing a child.

one of my close friends lost a baby at full term when we were much younger... she had to carry for days knowing. after she delivered her son, we all held him and said goodbye. she mourns that child to this day.

these people are callous ghouls and that is the most polite thing I can say about them.

More and more women are getting their fallopian tubes removed, even if they had wanted to be pregnant, because pregnancy can now be a death sentence and/or a jail sentence. It’s not worth the risk.
