I'm so glad that I've come back to playing FF7 Rebirth but good lord Queens Blood has to be my most disliked FF card game yet. However there are SO many different bits of side content that it doesn't bug me! There's an insane amount of stuff to do, so if one bit isn't doing it for me that's a-okay. - ThreadSky

FF7 Rebirth has a lot of fun packed in!! The variety is great, even if Queens Blood doesn't catch you, the game's got loads more things to experience. Glad you're back at it, I loved it ❤️🥰

That's kind of the nice thing about Rebirth: the bits I don't like don't bother me because there's so much that's incredibly up my alley. I've said it before, but Rebirth feels like a fan project in just how much passion and love there is for the source material.

There was a lot of grumpiness surrounding the release of FF7 ReMake about how the game was altered and not a 1:1 remake, but I think that would've been the most boring way option available. The FF7 remake trilogy enhances the original game rather than treading the exact same ground.

Remake twisted the source material just a bit and in doing so created something infinitely more interesting. There's an entire plot angle that can only be accomplished by knowing about the source material that's being altered. This could never happen for another game. It is SO fucking cool.

Oh yeah, I meant to include this earlier. I think about this quote from Ebert about fandom a lot within the context of people being upset that the remake isn't a 1:1 adaptation of the original game. The Remake trilogy is giving you FF7-2, and some of you are too scared to see it from that angle.

I did not like Rebirth at all, but I also don't really like the original 7 all that much either. I really like ReMake though for some odd reason.
