Apparently, DeJoy is now stepping down as postmaster general. Which probably means, this administration is now going to privatize the post office. I’d bet anything on it.

That's why he was put in there in the first place, to hobble USPS (Removed working equipment, etc) to make it ripe to privatize
He is someone who is able to take over the privatized USPS
Why?
To get the BILLIONS in the (pre-funded 75 years, the reason for shortfalls each year) retiree health fund
JD Vance thinks that America needs a dictator or as his buddy Curtis yarvin calls it a national CEO. This has been the stated goals from people like Kurtis yarvin since 2012. https://youtu.be/VeVhHNSe9Ks?si=UbXeJ33kOp51XmZS
Yep, they likely will have to repeal the postal office act of 1792, which will undermine the federal government's ability to deal with matters across state lines (the Supreme Court has found that many of Congress' powers are derivatives of this law - they will GUT their own power for the king)
This though personally at this point I think everyone should at least get a C in civics class or pass the written part of the US citizenship test before even being allowed to vote.
Just wait until the simple country folk find out they need to drive a long ways into town to get their mail and a stamp costs way more than they can afford to pay.
That was my first thought, too.
But isn’t the Post Office protected in the Constitution?
[As if that means anything with this regime]
But, still. USPS is written into the Constitution.
Right?
Our mail system was slowed considerably by DeJoy 7-14 days first class Boston to Kansas 21 days priority mail Kansas to Boston My mail to London takes less time ( 4 days) The USPS is in the constitution so needs 60 votes or suspension of the constitution You choose which is more likely

They can’t dissolve it so easily.
