Figures. For 30 years we’ve wanted to have a Target. Rumors weee rampant. I used to drive to Knoxville in what I called a pilgrimage. Now we get one, and I couldn’t care less. Unfortunately, our 11 million annual tourists will take up the slack.
Target is emblematic of America’s failed capitalist model.
Once a great company owned by the Dayton family—Mark Dayton ended up becoming a great MN governor and senator—eventually Wall Street, Black Rock, Vanguard and CEOs who care about short-term profits suck the life from them, and they die.
I went to the Target store up the street from me yesterday. Shelves in some sections were empty and there was ONE cashier. I refuse to use self checkout; they aren’t paying me to ring up my own purchases ffs.
This is what will tank them: empty shelves and zero cashiers.

I used to shop there weekly but since virtually everything they sell can be found many other places, I’m happy to cut them off.

Um. They get paid during boycots
I don't discuss politics with them. It would be too painful
