If the absolutely dreadful Autism Speaks are not involved yet, they soon will be.

For those that aren’t aware, it’s an organisation founded on the principle that autism is a disease that needs to be cured.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of Autism Speaks but am now.

Personally, I'm not keen on the 'disorder' element of ASD; autistic spectrum condition is less negative.

Yes, that word gives so many negative connotations.

My son is in Chicago now for a gaming convention. Said he thought he’d go now before it gets really nasty and anti- everything Trump & Co don’t consider normal. He is going to be so angry about this.
