😪 I'm so sorry to hear of someone who went through any of these diseases. My cousin had a worse case than me. She had a brace and many surgeries. I deal with post polio issues as well. These now mostly preventable diseases often have lasting or later in life impacts. This is true even with Covid.

There is a book I have that was written by the child of a polio victim. When someone gets a disease like polio, the whole family suffers. This is helpful in understanding the stakes of not having vaccines.
