Yeah, it's so sad to see it being used for evil cause as you say it can be such cool tech 😭 it's possible this might be the person's own voicebank as well so if that's the case they could've used covers they had permission to use as references instead and it would've been fine! It's a shame

This person's been popping up on my Twitter feed for the past few weeks and I have to admit when I first saw one of her short covers I thought she was human, but as I listened to her voice more I noticed artifacts and strange things about her that led me to believe she was using AI.

I believe she uses RVC by ripping the vocals from other people's covers and making her AI voice model sing exactly like the vocalist from the stolen cover does. Here's a snippet from her cover of MoeChakkaFire:

Notice both Chii and Cocolu's covers are in the same key although they're both different to the original key issey sings it in. Hmm. 🤔

It's also very interesting Chii uses the EXACT same inflections as Cocolu on every single note. Some examples:
At 0:10 in the clip of Chii she does the same vocal hick on the 'e' of 'egao' as Cocolu does at 0:39.
At 0:12 for Chii the 'pull' is breathey like Cocolu does at 0:41.

The vocal performance is literally 1:1, I could pick out every stylistic choice that Cocolu makes that Chii also happens to make but this thread would be so boring and long if I did that. Feel free to compare them yourself and find differences though!

holy shit how has it been 19 days and I never saw this?! I remember we discussed “is this AI or not” but the depth of how it’s done is CRAZY and could easily go over most people’s heads, ur so big brain
