I wanted a juxtaposition between the traditional meaning of a vanitas painting, and what (2/8)
He is fully nude, but relaxed and confident. He is powerful and his undressed state is no reason for him to feel vulnerable.
His left hand is holding a wine glass, which contains red wine or blood, up to interpretation. He looks nonchalant as (3/8)
