‘Dewdrops and Dreams’

Humdrum #mycelium,
dead dendrites,
chewing gum in aluminum,
and their foil, a burst of flavor,
a gentle breeze or touch,
a bit of predawn dew—

Just enough—
water to invite a fairy ring,
an umbrella,
and it's why I love the rain.
