I've definitely gotten the occasional "who's the artist" so I do kinda lean towards them mostly being familiar with the tik-tok side of things where reposting is just basically the norm and no one even assumes OP is the creator

I get what your saying, it can seem like a loaded question. I’d recommend giving them your linktree and pointing out that they can read your comics on the platform they are most comfortable with. Just hope they are not some scraping bit or shameless no-credit reposter.
I guess that makes sense, yeah, like maybe they'd prefer to read it on a gallery site that actually has shit sorted in a folder together, rather than the endless media timeline format. I like that! Thanks
Ah... I know the feeling. Most tech and graphics people have all the caginess of frightened marmosets and dart into the bushes that anyone peeks behind the curtain. That public relations stuff can be startling. Especially if it becomes a FAQ.
On twitter in particular i've especially gotten so paranoid about bots that in cases like these, I'm never sure if its actually a person with a question and not a content-scraper bot just mass downloading art to put up elsewhere. Lotta third-party porn sites just full of that stuff.
Whew... My dude is why - despite the hit to circulation - me and my pals packed up and came over here. I know that the reach is still smaller, but that also means the bot problem hasn't gotten worse, yet.

I completely understand that bullshit.
