And Hannibal having to repeatedly remind himself that he promised Adam's Father before he passed that he would give the young man professional guidance and therefore it would be impolite to kill him.

I also think that Hannibal would attempt to introduce Adam to shibari, thinking he can tie the sweet young man up, only for Adam to take the ropes and be like, "Oh yeah, I know how to do this," and shows that he knows far more ties than Hannibal does.

I will never stop being in love with the idea of Hannibal getting frustrated over having zero influence over Adam because he doesn't work with the same social cues as Hannibal, so all of his efforts are in vain.

Galaxy brain idea. And since Adam is so polite about it, Hannibal can’t really justify even wanting to kill him, so he just gives in and falls in love. He also figures out how to replicate Adam’s fav mac & cheese and finally gets him to eat people in the sauce.

They can talk about physics and time travel together. Hannibal will make sure none of his clothes have tags. Adam will point out the plot holes in Hannibal’s machinations.
