As much as I'm one who can separate the role of a non-profit community cultural organization that operates an event space from the events they book, this particular event has left me disappointed in the GCC given Germany's past history when it comes to movements that are anti-democratic.
I get that they need revenue coming in to keep the lights on in an ever-challenging business environment, but at the same time the community (and their membership base) needs to be put first and foremost before the almighty dollar.
