My asthma meds were $15-85 depending on which one I was buying and I thought that was high. Price gauging and having people not be able to afford to breathe should be criminal. I think if there is ever a democratic president again, we should make it retroactively a crime and throw them in prison.

. My husband goes to Walgreens for his meds. This happened on FEBRUARY 1 rst! His heart meds went up 300% in copay from our insurance because the price of them went up that much in one day!! From Jan 31 to feb 1 . How does that even happen? We sent them a nasty letter.

We all must do more than just send a Stern letter! It's time to stand up against big pharma and fight back!

This is how crazy the US is wrt prescription meds - in the UK I take 13 meds a day, and it costs me £111.60 (c. $139) in total per year. I could need 50 meds and it would be the same. All it takes is a governmental inclination to negotiate from strength.

I've had asthma my entire 66 yrs. I started inhalers at age 3.
This is reprehensible & severe price gouging.
The Advair Diskus meds are a corticosteroid which relaxes the lung sacs over longer time. Rescue inhalers just open up airways quickly. Not the same medication at all.

I spend $400 a month on meds, plus $200-400 every 6 weeks on allergy shots for my kids. One kid has had to switch asthma meds 6 times because of the lack of coverage one month to the next on meds. It’s infuriating.
