A 2-year-old boy was shot and killed last week with a gun that was left unsecured gun in his Georgia home, but you might not have heard about it because it’s the sort of thing that happens every single day in America. It’s long past time we did something about that.

You should have to prove you are responsible and worthy.
It’s a privilege for both. Not a right IMO.
Children surely do not deserve their parents.
NRA are on it...
All over it like a rash...
10 years since the Sandy Hook shooting, the NRA has spent more than $100 million in DC convincing America that the problem in America is
Not enough guns
Damn you.

Swiss people have widespread gun ownership. They also have reasonable regulations, such as secure storage. They don't shoot while drunk. They don't shoot road sign. Their law and culture align on responsibility, unlike the USA.
I was talking about 'more guns = more deaths' within USA. Particularly as a counter to those who advocate every teacher in every school having access to a gun, which would ultimately mean more lives lost than it would ever save

More guns don't _necessarily_ mean more death, but recklessly throwing more guns at the school shooting problem means more death!
That was almost the end of her because back then no one thought about gun safety.
It is definitely long past time to do something.
Pretty fucking disgusting.
States must enact legislation making any unsecured firearm incident a felony no matter the severity.
Gun left in a restroom stall, felony.
Child found with a gun at school or play, felony.
Shooting tragedy like above, felony.
Second Amendment responsibility.
There are things we can do to make America safer, but curtailing 2A rights isn’t it.

Short version: slave owners lived in constant fear of slave revolts, Nat Turner style, so they relied on firearms. They were 24/7 ready to shoot Black people. The tradition persists. That's why they were afraid of Obama confiscating guns.

Canada, on same continent, wildlife as dangerous or more so, has reasonable rules.
suspicion of professional soldiers - ICE doesn't that sound like ICE?
ur not gonna win a gunfight with a pen
Keep it secure.
I can get my unloaded gun out of the safe and pop in the clip in under five seconds, but it requires my fingerprint to open.
A very simple thing that is very secure and still provides quick access can save you from a life affecting tragedy
We put poison ☠ out of sight and out of reach of young children so why not the guns?
I am 72 never had use for a gun never had a gun!
It's all about politics in this country!!!!😔 😥
