I hate when people do this. Yeah, if Pence were wagging a finger at Biden I might roll my eyes. But it's useful to have Trump's former VP standing up to Trump & for the truth. Why on earth would you want to slap him down for it? What purpose does it serve, other than making you feel smug?

I dont think the guy who stood by and enabled all of Trump's lie the first time around gets to lecture anyone about truth.

we allied with Stalin. we can tout Mike Pence
It's mine, too, and that seems to be the norm on BlueSky. For years, I'd get annoyed at people engaging with trolls: *No, don't snap at the bait!*
Like Pence, people have learned.
Sometimes understandable, sometimes anything but - but it's foolish & profoundly irritating.

He would be in Heaven in a week.
One wonders why former presidents shouldn't be breaking with tradition, and speaking up about what's happening?
By the way, 'Norwegian Wood' is one of my all-time favorite songs. 🥰
we screamed for these folks to grow a spine and when they do you want to cut them off at the knees?
It doesn't mean I would ever vote for Pence for Prez but I would welcome him into the fold as speaking for Truth, angst tRUMP & Putin, and FOR the Ukrainians who. were. attacked.
It's so dumb.
Wait ...

The only reason to reject it is if you are on Putin's side.
JD Vance wouldn’t have
Come to think of it - JD Vance probably won’t
like a double rainbow or a unicorn:
a Republican speaking a non-lie.
As rare as a diamond in a cesspool,
as special and as transient as a snowflake…
Like those people whining that we shouldn't have acknowledged Liz Cheney's guts in taking on Trump because (shocker) a lot of her takes don't align with ours.
'The enemy of my enemy is my friend' has never been closer to being true. Welcome defectors with open arms.
Not a huge fan of Pence because of his fealty to Trump while he was his VP. However, Pence made the right move on Jan 6th, did not support Trump in 24, and called him out on Ukraine. When someone comes over to your side on an important issue, you welcome them. That’s politics 101.
People seem to believe it is.
He was wrong.
He knows it.
Lets welcome him, we need all the help we can get.
To do otherwise is counterproductive.
