Bitcoin was once a cool idea and now there are layers and layers of baggage. A whole bunch of scammers got involved, it became a cult, and then a whole bunch of folks who are anti-scammer and anti-cult got opposed and now it's becoming a culture war proxy.

That being said, it's more than just a cool idea. It a system that can run on human incentives that allows digital transfer of value across the world, with no limits on how much can be sent or who can receive it. In a way, it's Signal for money. That is power which we will never give up.

Layer 0 is the people, there’s no denying that.

But I came to the protocol/technology IN SPITE of many of its loudest proponents.

That protocol is still there. And there are many fighting to make sure it can stick around. I’m not ready to give up yet 🤷🏼‍♂️
