Every season, there is a new fanbase who gets very weird about their QB. This year, I am sad to report that it's the Broncos.

I'm an eagles fan(don't really care about nix) but could you argue that they are overly defensive about nix because everyone on tv or in media told them nix would stink and nix has over achieved thus far?

Yes definitely, but the fanbase is now looking for overzealous praise and an apology with tears from everyone. They don’t want to hear about pass protection or starting field position or Courtland Sutton

Which, the opposite side doesn't feel fair either. When people knock those guys down just because of that when they show real trairs. Russell Wilson had the same situation and he turned out to be a potential hall of famer.
