@danneidle.bsky.social my rough calculation is that this surgery would have an annual wage bill of around £3.8 million, which I think is way out - am I missing something?

I was pleased to join other Lib Dem MPs in signing Helen Morgan's letter to the Chancellor, calling on her to exempt GPs & social care providers from National Insurance rises announced in the budget. A #Langport surgery told me this adds £45k to their wage bill. Impossible for struggling practices.
