And funny you should mention ‘calling out’ people perverting the Word for their own ends~that’s connected to the point of my OP, that not all Christians ARE willing to pervert it. I’M NOT. And because I resent being lumped in with those who do, I try and remind people we aren’t all bigoted fascists.
