The selling point on heat pumps seems to be, it’ll save money. The real big thing about heat pumps is, it’ll save energy, using 3 to 4 x less for the same amount of heat.
Sadly, in UK gas is 3 x more expensive that electric, so you break even, but you’re saving plant.
