Wasn’t there a movie some years ago where there was a day each year where laws were paused and everything was legal, but only for that one day?

The fact that something is ‘illegal, unconstitutional, and impeachable’ is only a deterrent in a country subject to the rule of law. Since the SC ruled last year that Trump has complete immunity for his acts as president, he can effectively do as he likes.

So you'd agree that District Attorneys who don't pursue charges against doctors or women who've had abortions where abortion is illegal are also doing something illegal and impeacheable?

He 'can' do it, in the sense that he is grabbing the power to do it. He ought not to do it and ought to be impeached for it (and other things). It's the old Might is Right can-do attitude of dictators.
