Is this not merely a reflection of the lower required filling targets per 1 February? the later in the winter season the lower the required filling %.

🟡Yellow (notable & alerting)
40%-31%
🔴Red (worrying & dangerous)
30%-0%

Before, it was
🟢Green (good & reassuring)
100%-71%
🟡Yellow (notable & alerting)
70%-51%
🔴Red (worrying & dangerous)

Instead, with the previous coding, current EU gas storages would have been🟡Yellow-ish and, by the end of the week, they would have turned🔴Red, with darker and more alarming tonalities as we proceed into the winter, with more cold snaps and Dunklefleute events.
