You could just follow the various accurate osint mappers who make it pretty clear Ukraine was tactically encircled for weeks and then parts of the line quickly collapsed. There are likely dozens to hundreds trapped behind the collapsed front. Syrskyi foolishly keeps troops in tactical encirclements.

Zelensky is not credible any more than Trump is. There's accurate open source info that shows part of the front collapsed after Russia did a commando raid through an inactive gas pipeline.
