I need to stick in 50kwh into my car either tonight or friday night, I see predicted 7p for tonight which is great but friday night could it be negative ?? and therefore wait ?

See https://prices.fly.dev – it's less accurate but gives you a longer term forecast.
You should probably charge on Friday night

thanks it is a difficult one as I have to do 300 miles on saturday so can't afford for a failed charge session on friday (sometimes happens) so may split like 15/35 then
