I continue to think the basic inability of Democrats and progressives to regain control of the story is this:
Congressional Democrats hate their base and see them as annoying. Congressional Republicans love their base and see them as a source of power.

Oh, I’m so sorry. I took a few hours off to watch a show that commemorates 50 years of the best show on television that was a part of my growing up and is a phenomenal show. may i please have your forgiveness. When it’s over and before I go to bed, I will think of three more ways to work against 47
