This is such a fun post! I like your idea about analyzing organic growth of networks via starter packs!

But then: "building ways to reliably identify trans accounts on mass is a bad idea."

Yea... I wonder if these analyses could be used by BlueSky to help with safeguarding? 🤔

I am sure bluesky is doing all kinds of graph analyses.
It would be irresponsible not to.
The social media stream of WWW-conf is full of research papers on this.

WWWconf is the largest academic conference on the world-wide web.
Or at least it used to be, I haven't been since it was in Perth which was maybe 2017 or so.

This contains the nicest code I have ever written for depagenarion.
It uses Async/multithreading to fetch future pages in the background lazily.
