OMG. I just had a conversation (elsewhere) where people were saying how great it is that Elon is "doing it for free." I responded with a list of all the government subsidies he gets--totalling in the tens of BILLIONS. Answer I got was "what's wrong with that, he didn't create the system, did he?"
