There will be a proper celebration when Putin is dead.

To celebrate Jul, I will make a good traditional Norwegian dinner on the 24th, hopefully make some good memories for the teenagers in the family.

But honestly, there isn't much joy to find before Ukraine is free from russians.

I also sent a package to Kyiv and took special care with the packing. These are terrible times for my friends, 2 men in the family are at the front. Many of their friends are dead. I think a package might help them forget the nightmare for 60 minutes...

My husband works online with Ukrainians to help them practice English & share cultural exchange. His student is a wonderful woman with whom I have also met. Despite losing her home, she is strong, positive, and refuses to give into despair. She is a role model for us both. Our ❤️ are with Ukraine.

I don't celebrate anymore except to take my granddaughters out to make pottery and buy presents.
I fully stopped the year Ukraine was viciously attacked.
