We need death penalty back, or at least change prisons back to being punisment and not a reward.

Also, we need to build submarine tunnels to protect the cables.

UK NEEDS TO REJOIN THE EU
2) with this I mean R needs a LESSON
3) the one they never got after WW2
4) waiting for the collapse takes too long, it is the art of "leading" the talks to save a real future for both Ukrainians and Russians.
5) authoritarian massacre is zero
If the EU consistently seized the ships + imprisoned crews, ship owners accepting Russian payouts would stop allowing their ships to be used for espionage.
👍
2) stop Ukraine having to be the shield for Europe they already bleed too much for it
3) even serving US interests
4) so it's too good to be weak what concerns Ukraine being in NATO
5) in the contrary, it must be started with this fact for the future!!
Even if we don't make a song and dance and acknowledge where these may lie.
Putin uses smoke and mirror to obscure his intentions.
West needs an unannounced level of covert cooperation to take him by surprise.
Just an asymetric response, a message.
Discouragement by a show of hardening rather than softening of atitude.
Would it work?
On Putin that is an unknown.
Many diverse but strongly held "Wordly wise" opinions.
Of course, the conclusions for Europe should be the exact opposite of what Russia wants: stepping up support for Ukraine and making sure Russia is no longer a threat to the civilized world.
1. Stay in port
2. Run the huge risk, that the ship mysteriously sinks.....And since there will be a lot less ships willing to take the chance, the odds that the ship still sailing will be hit will go up exponentially.
NATO & the EU should be obvious about confiscating them and putting them to use for Ukraine. No need to dance around about it with Russia.
