What really annoys me is the fact that NATO / EU should have stationed troops in the defence of civilian targets in Ukraine right from the start! And not this wishy-washy behaviour that NATO/EU is now engaged in!

The problem was and still is that many people (including in the EU!!!) make themselves dependent on the USA! And many in NATO / EU have no backbone to really hit the table! There is no Washington or Europe, they all have no balls in their trousers! Otherwise Russia would never have invaded Ukraine!

I agree; this all dates back to the end of WW2. Not to take away anything from the US's sacrifice, but it made that country. They made a fortune from the war and emerged as the world's dominant power, imposing their currency and views on everyone. Europe became subservient to this; this was wrong.
