She's lived in that village all her life -- probably in the same house. And her animals are as much a part of her life as her children. Leaving that, and leaving the animals -- that poor soul. What a terrible thing to have to do, to leave all that.

Oleksandr Petrenko, a priest from Sumy who helped evacuate Mrs Nadiia from Uhroidy and is now helping her in the new place, says that thanks to the journalists who filmed the video, old friends of Mrs Nadiia from Odesa region, saw her story and want her to live with them.

There were also offers for her to come to Mykolaiv region, to the West of Ukraine, and to Germany.

The turkeys were also rescued and are now in good hands.

There are so many good people in the world.
