I don't know if people remember anything about the Avian flu, but the mortality rate is damn high, around 50%. It's no swine flu or COVID.
If it ever evolves to become highly contagious among people, we are absolutely screwed.

I can’t even imagine how difficult it would be for Public Health authorities to even attempt another pandemic and try to get compliance for anything. Hopefully, we are ahead of this one vaccine wise.
