I think what a lot of people don't realize because making video is so accessible these days, that doing it as a *business* is expensive
and it's not just the production costs, although even augmenting with local crew, sending people out for a few days is $$

so as a creative director, my big job was to understand the underlying business problem they were trying to solve and come up with a pitch to address it
