A 21-year-old Columbia University student who has lived in the United States since she was a child sued President Trump and other high-ranking administration officials on Monday after immigration officials tried to arrest and deport her.

Yunseo Chung participated in a Barnard sit-in this month.

With the side note for this case being that shared governance at most universities is pretty weak and high level administrators and BoT/R are the ones deciding on lawsuits.

Unfortunately this is very much the case where I work. Any conflict between faculty and admin inevitably ends one way. Not looking forward to our admin bending the knee when eventually it’s their turn
