I’m only a few chapters in, but The Mask of Fear is so excellent, and cements Alexander Freed as one of my top SW authors. I loved his Alphabet Squadron trilogy and this book is so well written so far. Dare I say it’s also extremely timely; some quotes could directly associate with current news. - ThreadSky

Yeah I’ve been kind of doing the same, which also helps for savoring every little morsel too instead of just plowing through (which some SW books are very quick reads in that regard). There’s lots to digest for sure.

Agreed. I'm about halfway through, and appreciate Freed's writing style. And yes, tons of relevance to today. I haven't read the Alphabet Squadron series, but will definitely be putting that in the queue. Was happy to see a 1313 mention in the book! Happy reading 📚💫

Definitely recommend Alphabet Squadron! It takes a little time to set up/develop, but Victory’s Price is one of my all time favorite SW novels. Happy reading to you as well.
