I guess it would be intervention image.
But you can use Next & Supabase, instead of having Laravel backend.

In that case spaties package Has nothing to do with images getting manipulated in php , https://github.com/spatie/image-optimizer#optimization-tools it only calls some Linux tools - nothing crazy - so be aware of that.

Little secret tip: most image classes use gd or imagemagick - but when it comes to performance and ram, check out: libvips (bad documentation) but killing all others in speed and ram usage
