Yes, it’s not about the politics. It’s about the money. Meme makers get follows and clicks which are good for them and great for the platforms. And emotional content is key to getting attention and shares. We’ve all participated in it. Now we just need to retrain ourselves.
I am a liberal but that doesn't mean I am going to believe every pro-liberal story or meme or anti-Trump/MAGA/conservative meme or story I see online. I wish people verify to make sure the stories and the memes they share are true BEFORE they shared them online.
