Seeing lots of people asking what folx #1 ttrpg resolution is for the New Year. But I want to know what is your #1 resolution for the New Year that has nothing to do with ttrpgs? Let me know about your other hobbies and interests

Get through my vidya backlog. I finally figured out how to play vidya without getting obsessed so now I can work through my stack of long jrpgs a bit at a time.
Getting to the second bow (the staff, not with an arrow) sequence in the MMA/karate dojo I joined and teaching it to someone else! I started in the later half of 2024, and it's been really fun. Learning a bow sequence makes me feel like a wizard tracing spells, and I like teaching newcomers.
Oh, awesome!!! Honestly, the staff is my favorite, and I think it would be really cool to see how it's different between different techniques/methods/periods/regions. You ever want to chat on how it's going, let me know!
While I never did proper staff when I did east Asian martial arts I know a little about it. It's completely different to European staff. In Europe staff was the training tool for polearms. So was designed for fighting people in heavy armour unlike Asian staff which was vs. unarmored fighters
I realise now this was unclear. I will not be replacing running on Sundays with skipping. I will be replacing it with sitting in a chair and eating cheese.
To me finishing my first novel/novella 😂 Going to search for an editor in the new year and then sending out ARCs and all that good stuff. Also tried signing up for an improv class but unfortunately it was already fully booked.

Art and the like, not card games or TTRPGs, or something like those.
What’s yours?
