This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.

When I was a girl (I'm 70+), we were told "Don't let boys know you're smarter than they are. They don't like it."

MAGA is full of the (white) boys grown old who can't take knowing that other people are smarter, braver, better than they are.
