I would take her into the vet tomorrow if she doesn't perk up overnight, if nothing else to put your mind at rest. Poor Clio, and poor you - it's so worrying when they're unwell

Honestly wouldn't like to guess. Possibly just an upset tummy making her uncomfortable and quiet, but the vet will sort her out and put your mind at rest.

I would recommend calling a 911 vet line to get an expert opinion! I’ve called one before and they were super helpful (everything was fine ultimately but cats are tricky to read!)

One of our cats started overgrooming - he was black & white with white ears (which I put sun cream on in the summer because he liked to bask) Anyway the vet found he had a overactive thyroid & prescribed liquid meds which brought him real relief. What has vet suggested might be causing the itch? 💚☘️

That she ate too much oil with the tuna and has given herself gastroenteritis. Not serious enough to keep her overnight but still not quite out of the woods - and to try to get her to eat food mixed with charcoal. Which obviously has not gone down well. So we are all feeling very sorry for ourselves

Oh that all sounds incredibly stressful.

When our tortie was old and having to face regular visits to the vets we treated her to tuna fairly regularly. But make sure it’s tuna in spring water next time - not in oil or brine.

Try Northwest Natural Freeze Dried Raw. They are small nuggets. I soak them in a little warm water, mine loves them

Hopefully it wasn't too expensive, the last trip we had to the Emergency Vet with our Beagle, who manages to injure himself in the most obscure of ways, was £600 and bot covered by the insurance!
