Just saw a thread about a guy calling into cspan saying his diabetic supplies increased from 5 dollars to 80 dollars and somebody in the comments, probably multiple people but I stopped reading, replied “FAFO” and I can’t stress enough how much you need to stop doing that shit

Using the evangelical right’s own (purported) language against them always seems appropriate.

The one Christian thing that Trump does well is embracing the prodigal son (Musk, Vance, RFK, Rubio, Gabbard, Zuck, etc.). If the left wants a chance at rebuilding their big tent, they could use more of that energy right now.

The current/popular usage of "FAFO" is a distillation of neo/conservative politics of desert, wherein negative outcomes are attributed to individual failings &, as such, the affected parties are deemed undeserving of the remedies for said outcomes.
