The United States Postal Service is just that — a public service for the American people. No matter where you live, neither rain nor snow nor sleet nor hail, they will deliver. Any attempt to shutter it would take an act of Congress. Efforts to close or privatize USPS would cause undue harm.

A few things to know about the USPS: no tax dollars go to fund USPS. We only recently stopped giving the Fed $5B before profits annually. Letter Carriers have now worked over 600 days without a contact & pay raises have been 1/3 the national average over 20 years.
