Do you still tip a taxi driver if they fart during the drive? I mean I still did but I'm half wondering if I just encouraged bad behaviour with that one

if this becomes a standard, you will have taxi drivers trying to hold them in for multiple trips in a row, until eventually they either explode or stinkbomb the car. It's a risky game you stand to play here, regardless of ethics.
