At this point I'd say most places have less corruption than your country. I'd say that with your skills and experience it shouldn't be difficult for you to move anywhere you want, pretty much. so it's really about whether you think the war will come first, or climate change.

Portugal and Spain have good digital nomad visa options that can lead to residency / citizenship where you don't need to find a job locally. Also Uruguay. You probably have the skills to fit some job in demand thing in NZ, and I'm sure you could get work in Canada.

@kashka.bsky.social thank you. A close relative is job-hunting in the space industry in Europe. A real possibility is The Netherlands, since ESA science & engineering are there. And there’s a streamlined visa available for US entrepreneurs. That’s at the top of the list, currently.

Ah yes, they have a skilled migrant visa thing too. We have a decent number of rangers there. Also my mom's best friend and her family live there, so feel free to hit me up if you ever have any questions about navigating systems over there.
