Republicans always take credit for what Democrats accomplish. I wrote my members of Congress who all voted AGAINST the infrastructure bill but were happy to take credit for dollars coming to our state. They never responded to me of course.

Same thing in Idaho. All Republican legislators voted against infrastructure bill, then tripped over themselves to take credit when money started pouring into the state. It seems their constituents were blissfully unaware of the hypocrisy. They just keep getting elected over and over again.

Not that he or the Republicans actually care, but Trump cannot pause any money for any bill approved by Congress under his predecessor. He can't even pause money approved by Congress at all. That's literally why he was impeached the first time.
