Facts - Private school teachers in La. Don’t have to be certified. Most private schools are religion-based, and kids spend instruction time being taught religious material. The private schools that accept vouchers aren’t the expensive schools parents actually want.

The goal is for rich kids to go to private schools while the poor kids get home schooled by their mothers who now can't work, leaving the family forever poor because they can barely survive on one income. The kids will end up being sent to child labor, diminishing their education permanently.

We moved from TN to AZ in July. You should read up on the mess that’s going on here with school vouchers! It’s a total disaster and they keep closing schools, laying off teachers and ever 50k+ was missing from one school and no one knew where it went 🤷‍♀️🤷🏼‍♂️

Private and/or voucher schools are notoriously adverse to failing or disciplining the students of tuition-paying parents. The students go on to pay a big price for the free ride they get throughout grammar, middle, and high school in the private and voucher systems.

Vouchers are not the solution, why? Vouchers typically don't cover all the cost of private schools; Private schools can reject low performing students; Private schools can reject special ed students. Private schools are often far from the neighborhood schools and transportation is not provided.
