Incorrect. The "UK" is made up of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, which is just northeastermost 6 counties of the island of Ireland. "Ireland" when used on its own refers to the Republic of Ireland which is a completely independent country that has nothing to do with the UK.

Oh I agree with you. I was just pointing out that the headline is inaccurate. What Ireland did was update travel *guidance* for trans people travelling to the US. No *warnings* or *cautions* were issued at all though even though the headlines are all saying that.
